Pa Then people's fire dancing festival in 2025

On the evening of December 5, in My Bac village, Tan Trinh commune, the Provincial People's Committee organized the first Pa Then Fire Dancing Festival in 2025. Attending were comrades: Nguyen Hong Trang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary in charge of provincial Party agencies; Vuong Ngoc Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; representatives of the Provincial Tourism Association; leaders of communes inside and outside the province and a large number of tourists from all over the country.

The Pa Then Fire Dance Festival has been included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage since 2012 and is held annually on the 16th day of the 10th lunar month. The fire dance festival demonstrates the strength, the process of labor, and the control of nature for human survival and development, and has the meaning of connecting the community and preserving traditional cultural values ​​from generation to generation of the Pa Then people.
