On the afternoon of August 26, comrades: Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vu Kim Cu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board and leaders of a number of departments, branches and units inspected the site clearance work of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and the main road in the Economic Zone in Thai Thuy district.

The delegation inspected the field and listened to relevant units report on the progress, difficulties and obstacles in the site clearance work for the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park project, and the No. 1 and No. 2 axes of the Economic Zone. According to the report of the Thai Thuy District People's Committee, the main obstacles in the site clearance work are currently related to a small number of households and enterprises who have not agreed with the support policy, compensation for land acquisition and resettlement. The Thai Thuy District People's Committee will focus on promoting propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among people and enterprises, strictly implement the provisions of the law, and at the same time propose to the Provincial People's Committee some solutions.

Concluding the working session, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The progress of the projects and works is slow and has not met the requirements set by the province. The immediate task is to promptly resolve the difficulties of these two projects and works in order to promote investment efficiency and focus resources on implementing other key projects and works of the province. Thai Thuy district needs to mobilize the entire political system to propagate and mobilize people and businesses to create consensus and unanimity in implementing the site clearance work, resolutely enforce according to the provisions of law for cases of deliberate procrastination and opposition. Closely coordinate with departments and branches to urgently complete the site clearance of the remaining areas to hand over the site to investors and contractors. Regarding the contents proposed and recommended by Thai Thuy district, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned departments and branches to focus on supporting and guiding the district to ensure compliance with legal regulations and policies on land, compensation, site clearance and resettlement.

Some households and businesses have not yet carried out site clearance work, slowing down the progress of industrial park projects and economic zone main roads.
