Checking a passenger bus discovered hundreds of kilograms of smelly animal organs

A passenger bus carrying 200kg of foul-smelling organs on its way to the North for sale was discovered by the traffic police of Ha Tinh Province.

At around 1:00 p.m. on December 26, a working group of the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Province Police patrolled the Ha Tinh City bypass (section through Tan Lam Huong Commune, Thach Ha District) and inspected a passenger bus driven by driver TVP (44 years old, residing in Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa ) in the South-North direction.

The working group discovered 3 foam boxes wrapped in yellow tape, containing a large number of plastic bags containing animal organs (intestines, liver, lungs...) with a foul odor, with a total weight of up to 200kg.

During the process, the driver could not present quarantine papers or documents proving the legal origin of the above animal organs.

The working group has drawn up a record of the incident and handed it over to the market management force for handling.

According to an officer of the Ha Tinh Market Management Department, after receiving the case, the unit clarified that the above organs belonged to Mr. MVĐ. (residing in Thanh Hoa). Mr. Đ. stated that the above organs were bought illegally on the market in Quang Binh and brought to Thanh Hoa for trading.

Immediately afterwards, Market Management Team No. 1 (Ha Tinh Market Management Department) coordinated with the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Ha Tinh province to issue a decision to administratively fine the owner of the goods 12 million VND, and at the same time take the internal organs to the destruction site.
