Kien Giang: Exporting OCOP products to Cambodia

From October 25 to 29, Kien Giang province participated in introducing and promoting over 30 OCOP products, key products, and typical products at the Vietnam - Cambodia economic - defense products exhibition fair in 2023.

According to the Kien Giang Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (KITRA), the Vietnam - Cambodia Economic - Defense Products Exhibition Fair 2023 will take place in Phnom Penh, the Kingdom of Cambodia. This is one of the meaningful activities that contributes to strongly promoting friendly exchanges, inheriting and nurturing solidarity, traditional close relations and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries to develop and raise to new heights.

At the same time, it creates opportunities for businesses of the two countries to meet, contact, trade, promote joint ventures, partnerships, transfer, and application of new scientific , technical and technological advances in socio-economic development.

This year's fair attracted more than 200 booths of Vietnamese and Cambodian companies and enterprises displaying a variety of products and services such as technological machinery, industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, electronics, handicrafts, consumer goods, typical rural industrial products, OCOP products...

Kien Giang alone participated in the fair with over 30 typical and key products of the province, such as: Phu Quoc fish sauce, dried shrimp, canned fish, tea, pepper products, products made from sedge... of 16 companies, businesses and cooperatives in the province.
