The students were also advised and provided with additional information about the admission requirements and procedures for the Naval Academy and other military schools; and policies to attract high-quality human resources to build a modern Navy.
Mr. Le Thanh Van, Principal of An Thoi High School, said: “The military recruitment awareness, counseling, and career guidance session for students is a practical and meaningful activity, creating opportunities for them to interact and exchange directly with officers working at the 5th Naval Region Command.”
Through propaganda work, we contribute to educating students about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and love for the sea and islands. This, in turn, enhances the awareness and responsibility of the younger generation, contributing to the overall strength in the struggle to protect sovereignty and maintain a peaceful and stable environment in the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
This is also an opportunity for students to better understand the standards, training programs, and application procedures for admission to military schools in general, and the Naval Academy in particular. This will provide them with useful information to facilitate their future application process."
After more than 5 years of implementing measures to combat IUU fishing as recommended by the European Commission, Kien Giang and Bac Lieu provinces, along with the rest of the country, have strived to gradually overcome difficulties and strengthen the management of fishing activities more strictly. |
To date, along the land border of Kien Giang province, more than 200 households have registered to self-manage border markers along nearly 50 km of border, establishing 17 security and order teams; in the coastal and island border areas, 46 teams have been established to ensure safe boats, docks, and harbors. |
