Fertilizer export turnover increased by 26.6%

(GLO)- According to statistics from the Customs Department, in May 2025, Vietnam exported 186,946 tons of fertilizer, worth more than 78 million USD (up 92.1% in volume, up 88.5% in value compared to the same period in 2024).

In the first 5 months of 2025, Vietnam exported 947,654 tons of fertilizer, worth more than 372 million USD (up 31.3% in volume, up 26.6% in value over the same period in 2024).

Vietnam's average fertilizer export price in the first 5 months of the year reached 392.6 USD/ton (down 3.6% compared to the same period in 2024).

In terms of market, in the first 5 months of 2025, Vietnam exported the most fertilizer to Cambodia with 281,208 tons, worth nearly 101 million USD (accounting for 29.7% in volume and 27.1% in value of the country's total fertilizer exports). The average export price reached 357.9 USD/ton (down 11.7% compared to the same period in 2024).

The second place belongs to the Korean market with 104,158 tons, worth 42.57 million USD (accounting for more than 11% in both volume and value of the country's total fertilizer exports). The average export price reached 408.7 USD/ton (down 1% compared to the same period in 2024). Next is the Malaysian market with 74,969 tons, worth nearly 31 million USD (accounting for 7.9% in volume and 8.3% in value of the country's total fertilizer exports). The average export price reached 412.8 USD/ton (up 19.9% compared to the same period in 2024).

In addition, Vietnam's fertilizer exports to other major markets in the first 5 months of 2025 such as the Philippines, Laos, Japan, Taiwan... all increased in both volume and value compared to the same period in 2024.
