The final round of the men's 1,500m freestyle swimming event took place last night (September 29). Nguyen Huy Hoang competed with very strong opponents such as Hinata Ando (Japan), Yi Shun-wang (Hong Kong, China), Ilya Sibirtsev (Uzbekistan), as well as the athlete (athlete) of the host country, India, Kushagra Rawat.

Even the 15 minutes 15 seconds 01 is not the best achievement of Vietnam's number one swimmer. Nguyen Huy Hoang once achieved a time of 14 minutes 41 seconds in the men's 1,500m freestyle, which is also a national record.
The 11th Asian Swimming Championship took place from September 28 to October 10. On the first day of competition on September 28, the Vietnamese swimming team won 3 medals.
These are the Silver Medal (HCB) in the women's 200m freestyle swimming event of Vo Thi My Tien, Silver Medal (HCB) in the women's 1,500m freestyle swimming event of Nguyen Kha Nhi and Bronze Medal (HCĐ) in the men's 200m breaststroke swimming event of Pham Thanh Bao.
