Da Nang leaders explain slow update of gift payment data 2 - 9

(NLDO) - Leaders of communes and wards in Da Nang who were named for being slow to update data on September 2nd gift payments said that in fact they had already completed the payments.

On the afternoon of September 10, a number of commune and ward leaders responded to the fact that their names were on the list of 29 units criticized by the People's Committee of Da Nang City for being slow to update the results of spending National Day gifts on the social security payment software connected to the National Population Database.

Mr. Nguyen Thuc Dung, Chairman of Hai Van Ward People's Committee, said that the locality has completed the payment of 100,000 VND gifts to people since September 1. However, updating the results on the software has encountered some difficulties.

Therefore, the updated data is different from the direct payment rate. Mr. Dung said that he has directed relevant departments to urgently implement and by September 10, this ward has updated 98.79% of the data.

Payment of National Day gifts September 2 in Da Nang City

The leader of Hoa Khanh ward said that the actual gift payment has been implemented according to the direction of the city and the central government, from August 31 to September 1. Up to now, the payment has been completed. The leader of this ward also explained that the update of results on the National Population Database software in the first days was slow, the network was unstable. By September 10, this ward had updated more than 43%.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Chairman of Nam Giang Commune People's Committee, also said that the locality had completed the payment of National Day gifts on September 2. Regarding the delay in updating data, Mr. Hieu said he would check again.

Previously, on September 8, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued a document criticizing 29 localities for being slow in updating the results of paying National Day gifts on September 2.

These localities have only updated results below 30%. Of which, some units have low rates such as Lanh Ngoc commune (2.12%), Nam Giang commune (2.33%), Thanh Binh commune (2.37%), Ba Na commune (over 13%), Hai Van ward (over 19%), An Khe ward (over 26%).

According to records, by September 10, the updating of results on the social security payment software had been basically completed, with only 2 localities having a result update rate of less than 30%. The total rate of results updated on the city's social security payment software reached 76.84%.
