Provincial leaders visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday 2025

(BDO) On the morning of April 29, a delegation of provincial leaders led by Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province on the occasion of the Great Buddha's Birthday (Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025) and the delegation of Binh Duong Buddhists attending the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival in Ho Chi Minh City. Accompanying them were Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Standing Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives of relevant departments, agencies and branches.

Provincial leaders visited and congratulated the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province

At the visit and congratulation ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Loc Ha sent his best wishes to the dignitaries of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Provincial Executive Committee and all monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province for a Buddha's birthday full of health, joy, peace and happiness. Along with the Buddha's birthday, on this occasion, Binh Duong Buddhism also attended the United Nations Vesak 2025. This is an important international cultural event, an extremely meaningful international cultural diplomacy event of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the country.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the Binh Duong Buddhist delegation, with their wisdom and experience in organizing and participating in major Buddhist events, will continue to make important contributions to Vietnam's successful organization of the festival, leaving a good impression in the eyes of international friends.

Welcoming the delegation, Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Vice President of the Executive Council, Head of the Legal Department of the Central Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee, expressed his joy and happiness when the provincial leaders visited and congratulated them on this important occasion of Buddhism. The Venerable also informed the provincial leaders of some important contents that will take place in the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as the responsibilities of the members of the Binh Duong Buddhist delegation at this event. The Venerable affirmed that Binh Duong Buddhism will try to carry out Buddhist activities within its capacity, contributing to the peace and happiness of the people.
