Seeking comments on the Draft Political Report of the 15th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang Province

Comrades Tang Thi Duong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and Tran Thi Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, presided over the conference. Attending the conference were leaders of provincial departments and agencies; members of the advisory councils of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and experts and individuals with in-depth knowledge and experience in fields related to the activities and work of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The draft political report of the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang province, term 2024-2029, is titled "Promoting the revolutionary traditions of the homeland and the strength of great national unity; continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation; contributing to building Tuyen Quang province into a relatively developed, comprehensive, inclusive, and sustainable province in the midland and mountainous region of Northern Vietnam."

The spirit of the Congress is "Unity - Democracy - Resilience - Innovation - Development". The draft report consists of two parts: The first part summarizes the situation of national unity and the results of implementing the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang province for the 2019-2024 term; the second part sets out the direction, objectives and action program of the provincial Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term.

Participating in contributing opinions to the Draft Political Report of the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang province, term 2024-2029, the delegates unanimously agreed with the contents presented in the Draft Political Report. At the same time, they proposed adding some content to the draft, such as: specific results, clearly stating how many targets were achieved and how many were not achieved during the 2019-2024 term; adding the results of the "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods" campaign; the role of the Fatherland Front in participating in the fight against corruption and negative practices; monitoring complaints and denunciations from citizens; the results of coordinating citizen reception and resolving petitions, complaints, and denunciations; adding the results of member organizations, in addition to political and social organizations; and regarding directions and objectives, reconsidering the target of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households. On behalf of the leadership of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Tang Thi Duong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, respectfully thanked the delegates for their contributions. She affirmed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee would fully consider all the delegates' suggestions, and based on that, would incorporate appropriate comments to finalize the congress documents soon. She also expressed hope that in the future, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee would continue to receive the attention and cooperation of relevant agencies to help finalize the congress documents.

According to the plan, the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, for the term 2024-2029, will be held in July 2024.
