They invited the statue to build a temple to worship her. Initially, the temple was built at the river intersection; later, due to landslides, the temple was moved to its current location.
From the simple bamboo temple in the beginning, after 5 generations of preservation and restoration, up to now, An Khuong Van temple has been expanded and spacious with an area of about 3,000 m². This is also one of the few temples that still preserves the traces of Ha Ba worship in Dong Thap province.
The ceremony is an opportunity for people to express their gratitude to the Mother Goddess of the Water Palace for protecting those who work on the water, helping them travel, fish and earn a living safely and smoothly. Over time, the ceremony has become a unique cultural and religious space for local people.
