Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company's grassroots union: Actively taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members

On the afternoon of December 3, Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company held the 10th Congress of Grassroots Trade Union (UC), term 2025 - 2030. Attending were comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LDLĐ), representative of the company's Board of Directors, leaders of My Ngai Ward Union, and 100 official delegates, representing more than 2,900 union members.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Vice President of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, presented flowers to congratulate the new Executive Committee.

During the 2023 - 2025 term, the Company's Trade Union Executive Board closely coordinated with the Board of Directors to fully implement the regimes and policies for employees on salary, allowances, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and labor protection.

The Union proactively builds grassroots democracy regulations, organizes dialogues, reviews salary scales, labor regulations and negotiates collective labor agreements with many provisions beneficial to employees, improves the quality of meals, holiday bonuses, etc.

During the past term, there were no strikes or petitions beyond the authority level, contributing to maintaining a stable and trustworthy working environment.

The Executive Committee also pays special attention to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers through welfare, rewards, support for female workers, training and development, encouraging initiatives, taking care of union members' children, etc. with a total budget of about 4.6 billion VND.

In addition, the Trade Union actively participates in social security activities with a total budget of about 30 billion VND, organizes labor conferences, monitors meal quality and participates in periodic dialogues, contributing to protecting labor rights and promoting corporate culture.

The Congress proposed a breakthrough for the term as promoting innovation, applying digital transformation in trade union activities and improving the effectiveness of policy proposals.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee in the past term, especially the active role in protecting workers' rights, organizing dialogues, monitoring policies and taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members.

At the same time, comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan hopes that the Trade Union Executive Committee will continue to promote its representative role, closely coordinate with the Board of Directors in dialogue, collective bargaining, building a harmonious, creative and safe working environment; promote creative labor, improve productivity, apply digital transformation, innovation and develop corporate culture, contributing to the company's sustainable development in the new period.

At the Congress, delegates elected the 10th Trade Union Executive Committee consisting of 13 members, comrade Nguyen Thi Ly was elected as President of the Trade Union.
