The 2022 and 2023 events, organized by Saigontourist Group, attracted over 80,000 visitors and were honored with the World Culinary Awards, being named "Asia's Best Culinary Festival 2022" and "Asia's Best Culinary Festival 2023 " . Notably, for the first time, a Vietnamese culinary festival received the " World's Best Culinary Festival 2023" award, presented in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in October 2023.
"Besides the goal of stimulating domestic tourism , diversifying Ho Chi Minh City's tourism products, and promoting Vietnamese culinary culture , the Saigontourist Group's Culinary Culture Festival is also oriented towards becoming an international event, having quickly established itself through prestigious international awards. Returning on a larger and more impressive scale, both in content and presentation, the Saigontourist Group Culinary Culture Festival 2024 continues to be a gathering place for the culinary essence of the three regions of Vietnam, showcased and served by representatives of renowned food brands from 4-5 star hotels, resorts, and restaurants belonging to the Saigontourist Group in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities. The festival also integrates many unique activities such as art performances, cultural exchanges, folk games, and reenactments of traditional craft villages. This will be an unmissable culinary cultural destination for domestic and international tourists, as well as Vietnamese expatriates from around the world.
At the Saigontourist Group's 2024 Culinary Culture Festival, experienced chefs from over 40 member units of the Saigontourist Group system will introduce to the public more than 400 regional specialties and drinks at over 40 food stalls arranged into three areas: North, Central, and South. In addition, the event will feature culinary brands from Ben Tre and Tay Ninh provinces, as well as partners of Saigontourist Group such as Vietnam Airlines and Saigon Trading Corporation (Satra)... Regarding the scale of this year's festival, the organizers stated that it can serve over 12,000 guests simultaneously.

Notably, to meet the demand of diners from last year's event, this year's festival continues to serve Vietnamese filter coffee, a unique coffee-drinking style of old Saigon, handled by Binh Quoi Tourist Village. To cater to the entertainment and traditional cultural experiences of visitors, the Saigontourist Group's 2024 Culinary and Food Festival continues to organize many unique activities such as art performances, cultural exchanges, folk games, and reenactments of traditional craft villages. Performances of Quan Ho folk singing, Bai Choi folk singing, Hue folk songs, Hat Boi opera, Don Ca Tai Tu folk music, and the Chhay-dam drum dance of Tay Ninh – a national intangible cultural heritage – will feature interactive street performances, transforming the festival space into a vibrant and diverse cultural space showcasing the diverse cultures of various regions.
Adding to the festive atmosphere are traditional folk games that evoke childhood memories. Families and children will surely be thrilled to participate in games like blindfolded pig smashing, fish throwing, coconut leaf tying, ball dropping, ball tossing, dart throwing, bottle ring tossing, and coin tossing. Adults can join in bingo, Chinese chess, chess, and dice games. This year's festival will feature seven traditional craft villages, showcasing typical examples such as vermicelli making, various folk cakes, bamboo weaving, conical hat making, sedge mat weaving, and pottery making.
The Saigontourist Group's 2024 Culinary Culture Festival will be open from 4 PM to 10 PM daily for four consecutive days: March 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2024.
