Lily Chen: "The movie Mother Sea brought me many tears"

(Dan Tri) - Having just finished playing the role of Ba Lanh in the movie "Mother of the Sea", Lily Chen is busy decorating her house for Tet.

In the TV series Mother of the Sea directed by Nguyen Phuong Dien, Lily Chen plays a woman from a coastal village. She appears throughout the film, so she had to put aside all her personal schedule to focus on the film.

Lily Chen confided: " Mother of the Sea is based on a true story and has brought me many tears. The film was very hard to film, having to be exposed to the sun for months, but when the role was over, I felt nostalgic and regretful. The film speaks to the hearts of the coastal people, of the victims who experienced harsh and devastating storms and floods."

Different from the role of Lieu in the movie Mother Straw , this time Lily Chen transforms into a coastal woman with typical personalities.

"I completely immersed myself in the role, from personality to thinking. Every time I play a role, I feel like I've improved a lot. I get to work in a professional environment, no matter how difficult it is, I want to do my best," Lily Chen confided.

Immediately after finishing her role, Lily Chen immediately started decorating her house for Tet. She said that as the breadwinner of the family, she took the initiative to prepare everything, doing everything from cooking to offering sacrifices.

After filming for months, Lily Chen enjoys cooking and taking care of her family when she returns to her daily life. Despite the hardship, she still feels happy.
