On the morning of April 8th, in Nam Can district, Ca Mau province, Brigade 175 of the 5th Naval Region, in coordination with Phan Ngoc Hien High School, organized a program on maritime and island issues, aiming to attract human resources for building a modern Navy for over 600 officers, teachers, and students of the school.

During the presentation, the speaker from Brigade 175 provided information on the position, role, and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands to the cause of national construction and defense; the views and policies of the Party and State in resolving maritime disputes; the path of contribution and talent development for young people in the Navy; training majors, application procedures, and policies for becoming a student at the Naval Academy…
Many students from Phan Ngoc Hien High School shared that the information gained from the awareness campaign helped them to love the sea and islands of their homeland even more and to be aware of their responsibility, as well as that of the younger generation in general, towards the cause of building and protecting the nation.

On this occasion, Brigade 175 awarded 8 scholarships to disadvantaged students, totaling 4 million VND. This is a meaningful act aimed at sharing and encouraging the students to overcome difficulties in life and strive for high academic achievements.
