83rd Naval Engineering Brigade: Political education close to the target and close to the task

Closely following the actual requirements of the task, in recent years, the Party Committee of the 83rd Naval Engineering Brigade has always focused on leading and directing political agencies to develop plans and guide agencies and units to innovate forms and methods of political education suitable for each subject.

Construction sites and military areas have all been equipped with political education teams; the construction process is closely combined with political study; units strictly maintain the routine of make-up and remedial classes, ensuring that 100% of the military fully participate in the prescribed content.

In parallel with the official curriculum, units regularly organize seminars, forums, and competitions to learn about traditions, combined with cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities. Many political activities are integrated with games and skits, creating a lively atmosphere, helping officers and soldiers learn, remember, and apply easily. Major Tran Huu Kien, Political Commissar of Battalion 887, said: Based on the requirements of the task and practical activities, the unit organizes political studies for soldiers right at the construction site, at appropriate times, ensuring correct and complete content.

As a member of the political education team, Senior Lieutenant Dang The Son, Assistant to the Political Department's Propaganda Department, shared that in the process of preparing lesson plans, structuring lectures and building presentations, the team always chooses illustrative images from the unit's training, practice and regular discipline building activities, ensuring they are consistent with the teaching content. Private Hoang Quang Hieu, a soldier of Company 6, Battalion 886, expressed: Political lessons not only provide necessary knowledge but also foster love for the unit, helping us understand the responsibilities and tasks of the collective and individuals; thereby, increasing confidence and determination to complete all tasks well on the training ground as well as when constructing works.

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of many solutions, the quality of political education work at the 83rd Naval Engineering Brigade has been increasingly improved. Officers and soldiers have a strong political stance, are aware of their responsibilities, always uphold the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and are ready to receive and excellently complete all tasks.
