Current flood situation at 3:00 p.m. on September 11, 2024, the water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De was measured at 4.47 m (0.47 m above alert level 3), at Gian Khau 4.20 m (0.50 m above alert level 3); Day River at Ninh Binh 3.95 m (0.45 m above alert level 3), above the flood peak in 2017 (0.01 m)

Flood on Day River exceeds 2017 flood peak

Water level at Day River rose at 5:40 p.m. on September 11.

It is forecasted that in the next 12-24 hours, the water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De and Gian Khau will continue to change slowly, fluctuating at level above alert 3 (alarm 3: 4.00m); at Gian Khau, it is likely to be at level 4.20-4.40m (above alert 3: 0.50-0.70m).

On the Day River in Ninh Binh, the water level continues to rise to 4.10 - 4.30 m (above alarm level 3: 0.60 - 0.80 m).

Flood disaster risk level: level 3.

Warning of the impact of rising river floods, combined with heavy rain; high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, steep slopes, communes in Nho Quan and Hoa Lu districts, and Tam Diep city.
