On the morning of November 5, officers and soldiers of Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station (Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard) organized patrols, controls, propaganda, mobilization, support and guidance for fishermen to bring 195 fishing boats to anchor safely at Dong Tac fishing port ( Phu Yen ward) and Bach Dang embankment (Tuy Hoa ward) to avoid risks when the storm makes landfall.

Fisherman Ho Ngoc Hoi, owner of fishing boat PY - 90909, has just docked his boat at Dong Tac fishing port to avoid storm No. 13 under the guidance of the border guards. A few days ago, he and 5 other fishermen were fishing for tuna at the Truong Sa archipelago fishing grounds. For the safety of the boat and the fishermen, he quickly brought the boat back to dock. The catch yield was quite good, so he plans to continue fishing after the storm.

According to information from Da Rang Border Control Station (Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard), as of 10:00 a.m. on November 5, there are currently 83 fishing boats with 468 workers operating at sea. The unit maintains regular communication with offshore fishing vessels 24/7, continuously reports on storm developments, and guides fishermen to move to safe shelters. Border guards coordinate to assist people in bringing boats ashore, ensuring safety for people and vehicles.

Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station (Dak Lak Border Guard) has also assigned forces to monitor areas at risk of being directly affected by the storm. Officers and soldiers of the station maintain 100% of their personnel on combat readiness and deploy forces to respond to natural disasters and search and rescue when required. The station has fully prepared equipment and materials to ensure natural disaster prevention and search and rescue work, and is ready to support forces and means of rescue when situations arise.

In recent days, in response to information that storm No. 13 is affecting the waters of Xuan Dai Bay, officers and soldiers of Xuan Dai Border Guard Station (Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard) have sent forces to guide boats to dock for shelter; at the same time, they went to the aquaculture cage area to inform and mobilize people to evacuate to a safe place. The unit used loudspeakers to remind people not to stay on the raft after 12 noon on November 6 to ensure safety.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dao (Xuan Dai Ward) said that through information from the border guards, he knew that the very strong storm No. 13 would cause great damage to aquaculture, so he moved shrimp and fish raised on rafts in Xuan Dai Bay to shore safely. To monitor the rafts, Mr. Dao used a camera surveillance system and absolutely did not stay on the rafts during the storm.
