The Ministry of National Defense parade force marched to the South by train.

On the evening of April 3, thousands of soldiers from the parade and marching groups of the Vietnam People's Army left Hanoi station on special trains, marching to the South to regroup and continue training in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

According to the plan, the parade force will move to the South on 5 trains. Of which, four will depart from Hanoi station on April 3-4, the fifth will depart from Tam Ky station ( Quang Nam ) to Bien Hoa station (Dong Nai). On the way, the groups will stop at major stations such as Dong Hoi, Da Nang, Dieu Tri, Nha Trang, before continuing to the planned assembly location.

The total number of military officers, soldiers and militia participating in this march is up to nearly 3,200 people. During the journey, the troops will have exchange activities with local people at some stops, demonstrating the spirit of military-civilian solidarity and spreading the spirit towards the important anniversary of the nation.

The parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification is scheduled to take place solemnly at 8am on April 30 in Ho Chi Minh City. The event will have the participation of more than 13,000 people, including 35 armed forces organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security , along with the parade groups of Ho Chi Minh City.

The journey to the South of the troops not only has strategic significance in the preparation work, but also recalls the historic train journeys of the previous generations, when each army left the North to go to the South with the desire for peace and national unification. Today, those footsteps continue on the road, affirming the indomitable spirit of the nation and the determination to protect and build the country to become increasingly prosperous.
