In his opening remarks at the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest 2024, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated that the week, taking place from March 22nd to March 31st, features a variety of rich and diverse events and activities, including a series of cultural, sports , and tourism exchange and connection events in Binh Dinh province, with the main programs themed "The Quintessence of the Martial Arts Land".

Besides the thrilling moments and enthusiastic cheering, the audience could also enjoy the unique cuisine of Binh Dinh, along with vibrant music programs and other attractive activities in the series of events during the Week… The opening night began with a spectacular musical performance titled “The Essence of the Martial Arts Land,” recreating the historical periods of Binh Dinh, consisting of 3 segments: The Heroic Spirit of Tay Son, the Sparkling Silver Sea, and the Essence of the Martial Arts Land, combined with traditional music and World Music styles. The musical performances created a heroic and impressive atmosphere about a Binh Dinh that is rich in history, culture, nature, and the warm-hearted people; from a simple fishing village to a vibrant and dynamic tourist city.

A miniature scene was recreated from the perspective of a fishing village with its simple fishermen to a vibrant and dynamic tourist city in the musical performance during the opening ceremony of the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest 2024.

With three scenes: The Spirit of Tay Son, The Sparkling Silver Sea, and The Quintessence of Martial Arts, combined with traditional music and World music styles, it created a heroic and impressive atmosphere about Binh Dinh, showcasing its rich history, culture, nature, and people.

Next, the torch-lighting ceremony marked the opening of the World Jet Ski Championship, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship, dynamism, development, and the aspiration to become a sports economic center of Binh Dinh province. On the stage, when the flame was lit, models of the F1H2O Binh Dinh - Vietnam Jet Ski Team's motorboats created a highlight, showcasing the pride of the martial arts land for pioneering the bringing of this prestigious world-class race to Vietnam, and also being the first province to have a motorboat team competing at the international level.

The opening torch was lit on the opening night of the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest 2024. Leading the torch-lighting team were two outstanding athletes from UIM - ABP Aquabike Championship 2023 - racer Jeremy Perez and Jessica Chavanne, the reigning champion of Ski Ladies GP1 2023.

Following the torch relay ceremony, there were cultural performances: "The Heart of Sports" - a composition by Duy Hai, performed by singers TLong, Trung Hieu, Viet Dong and the Loc Viet dance troupe... On the opening night, the audience also enjoyed the "Amazing Binh Dinh" art performance, featuring leading artists such as Van Mai Huong, Hoa Minzy, JustaTee and the Fband group. The program brought the audience impressive and vibrant performances with modern melodies and songs reflecting the youthful spirit of Binh Dinh.

Their unique combination of "The Cup of Life" - an energetic song associated with the 1998 World Cup - and "Wild Dance" - a Vietnamese hit with a modern EDM sound - delivered an impressive and explosive performance. Following that was a series of youthful, fresh, and colorful medleys featuring various songs, such as: "Despacito" and "We Don't Belong Together," a medley of "I Hope One Day You Remember Me," "I Am Me," "When Do I Know What Love Is," and "Cute Declaration of Love," a mashup of "Fortune Telling" and "The Universe Has You," and a medley of "Words of Love," "Loving You for a Long Time," and "One Drunken Night." Following the explosive performance by F band, singer Van Mai Huong appeared with a series of hits including "Huong (Remix)", "Dai Minh Tinh", "Cau Hon", and "Vuon Dia Dang".
