From March 20 to March 22, Russian news sources repeatedly shared videos of multiple Lancet drone strikes in the special military operations area in Ukraine.
Lancet strikes hit a US-made 155 mm M777 howitzer, a Soviet-made 152 mm D-20 howitzer, a Soviet-made 122 mm D-30 howitzer, a British-made Stormer HVM short-range air defense system, and a battle tank, possibly a Soviet-made T-72.

Lancet Drone
The Lancet drone was developed by ZALA Aero, a subsidiary of Russian defense giant Kalashnikov.
The company has produced two versions of the Lancet drone, the Izdeliye-52 and the Izdeliye-51. The Izdeliye-52 has an endurance of 40 minutes and a 3 kg warhead. The Izdeliye-51 version has an endurance of one hour and is equipped with a 5 kg warhead.
Both the Izdeliye-52 and Izdeliye-51 versions are equipped with an inertial navigation system with GLONASS support as well as an electro-optical system. This enables the Lancet to detect, track and lock on both stationary and moving targets.

Lancet video attacks Ukrainian equipment in the area of special military operations.
Since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, more than 100 Lancet attacks have been recorded. Kiev forces are struggling to counter the Lancet attacks. Air defense systems, electronic warfare means and other countermeasures provided by the West appear to be ineffective against Lancet drone attacks.
