On April 16th, a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper observed that Vietjet 's website was selling tickets for flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Con Dao (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) using a new type of aircraft.
For flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietjet operates two round-trip flights per day, with ticket prices around 3.5 million VND per round trip. If flying from Hanoi to Con Dao, the ticket price is approximately 8.7 million VND per round trip (including taxes and fees).
Accordingly, from April 19th, Vietjet officially operates flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Con Dao. This is one of the famous spiritual destinations, associated with Hang Duong Cemetery and the tomb of the heroine Vo Thi Sau.
Notably, this is also the first time an airline has launched a service called "Con Dao Ceremony Package," available immediately after customers book their flights.
Tickets for routes from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Con Dao are currently on sale on the airline's website.
The "Con Dao Ceremony Package" service is offered by Vietjet after passengers book their tickets and select the accompanying services.
There are four sets of offerings for passengers to choose from, with prices ranging from 450,000 VND to 6.4 million VND. Each passenger can order a maximum of two sets of offerings.
The cheapest option is the Phuc An green ceremonial set, priced from 450,000 VND to 6.4 million VND, including incense, candles, a tray of five fruits, prayer scrolls, and various offerings of different values depending on the passenger's needs.
On flights to/from Con Dao, Vietjet does not offer checked baggage; passengers are only allowed to bring carry-on baggage as per regulations.
