A beauty queen from Binh Dinh province was stripped of her crown for 'not completing her duties'

Beauty Huynh Tran Y Nhi from Binh Dinh was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023. However, immediately after being crowned, Y Nhi was continuously caught up in negative noises related to inappropriate statements.

This made the public fed up and some people asked the Organizing Committee to revoke the title of Miss and strip the crown of Huynh Tran Y Nhi. The representative of the Organizing Committee apologized to the audience but did not mention stripping the title of Y Nhi.

Before the noise of Huynh Tran Y Nhi, a beauty queen from Binh Dinh who was stripped of her crown after more than 3 months of coronation. Specifically, in March 2023, the Miss Business Global contest took place at the Dak Nong Provincial Convention Center. After going through the rounds, the beauty with registration number 08 - Nguyen Thi Thao - from Binh Dinh was named for the highest position of the contest.

However, in July 2023, the Organizing Committee of the Miss Global Business 2023 contest announced that it would strip Nguyen Thi Thao of her crown and revoke her coronation items for the reason of "not completing her mission".

In a statement sent to the media, the Miss Business Global pageant's organizing committee announced: "The Miss Business Global organizing committee regrets to announce that we will revoke the title of beauty Nguyen Thi Thao from Vietnam because she has not fulfilled her obligations since her coronation."

The representative of the contest's Organizing Committee, Mr. Bezi Duong, shared more: "The Organizing Committee has agreed to revoke the title of Miss and the coronation item for contestant Nguyen Thi Thao because she is not responsible enough to take on the title and accompany the Organizing Committee."

The Organizing Committee announced the withdrawal of Nguyen Thi Thao's crown and coronation items.

This person indignantly emphasized that Nguyen Thi Thao had a "disrespectful working attitude and style towards the Organizing Committee", she violated 2 terms:

"Since being crowned, Nguyen Thi Thao has not been able to maintain the image of a Miss according to the criteria of the Organizing Committee. Although the Organizing Committee has given directions and rules right after the coronation, she has received an uncooperative attitude from Miss Global Businesswoman 2023.

Not ensuring information confidentiality: During the process of working and exchanging personal information, Nguyen Thi Thao arbitrarily took a photo of an internal message and sent it to the customer without the consent of the Organizing Committee.

Accordingly, the first runner-up is the Latvian beauty - Alisa Miskovska, who replaced Nguyen Thi Thao as Miss.

Before this beauty from Binh Dinh, in September 2019, the Organizing Committee of the 2019 Quang Binh Tourism Beauty Contest signed a decision to strip the crown of Miss Quang Binh Tourism from beauty Tran Ngoc Huyen.

In addition, the Organizing Committee requires Ms. Tran Ngoc Huyen to compensate for damages to the image, brand, media, and reputation of the organizing committee according to regulations.

Previously, Miss Ocean 2017 Le Au Ngan Anh also became a topic of discussion among fans of Vietnamese beauty contests because the Department of Performing Arts proposed that the Organizing Committee strip her of her crown and revoke her title.

Miss Ngan Anh was once asked by the Department of Performing Arts to strip her of her crown and revoke her title.

The reason is because Le Au Ngan Anh had plastic surgery before participating in the Miss Ocean 2017 contest. For this reason, the Department of Performing Arts issued document No. 18/NTBD-QLBD dated January 11, 2018 requesting the organizer of the Miss Ocean contest to withdraw the contest results, specifically requesting to withdraw the crown of Miss Le Au Ngan Anh, and fine the Miss Ocean Organizing Committee 4 million VND for allowing a contestant who had plastic surgery to participate in the contest.

The document stated: "To ensure the fairness of the contest, the Department of Performing Arts requests the Director of Vo Viet Chung International Company Limited to strictly fulfill the obligations of the contest organizer as committed in the Project to organize the contest "Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017" and cancel the contest results for contestant Le Au Ngan Anh due to not meeting the contest conditions according to regulations."

However, the contest organizer did not comply with the request of the Department of Performing Arts.
