Even small tasks such as guiding people in farming and cultivating, to many activities such as supporting the renovation of roads, houses, classrooms... have partly helped improve the lives of the people of Abyei..."

"You have provided the necessary engineering expertise to assist the Mission in areas such as road maintenance, bridge/culvert repair, drainage treatment, container towing and lifting, smart barracks construction, etc., among others.
You have demonstrated that you are a highly disciplined unit, closely coordinating with all unit formations, agencies and departments in the Mission. The role of coordination within the unit and with the entire Mission as well as the quick and effective response style to the Mission's mission requirements have also been demonstrated in a smooth and professional manner.
I appreciate your approach to local communities, which is closely linked to the tradition and identity of the Vietnam People's Army, an Army of the People, by the People and for the People.
I have full confidence that the Vietnamese Engineering Team will continue to operate effectively at the Mission, and I ask you to continue to maintain the current excellent working attitude, so that the Vietnamese flag and the flag of the United Nations will always fly high," he emphasized.
