Tay Ho Ward Fatherland Front: Solidarity and innovation for sustainable development

The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tay Ho ward, term 2025-2030, was a great success, marking a new milestone in the work of the front, firmly consolidating the great national unity bloc.

On September 9, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Tay Ho Ward, term 2025-2030, with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", took place solemnly at the Ward People's Committee Hall. This important political event was attended by 175 official delegates and leaders.

Mr. Pham The Vinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho Ward - presented a summary of the Political Report at the Congress, clearly stating the directions, tasks, and action programs for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Vinh emphasized that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tay Ho Ward has strived to achieve important results in all fields, creating a solid foundation for the new term.

According to the report, the ward Fatherland Front has promoted propaganda and mobilization work, diversified forms of people's gathering, and consolidated the great national unity bloc. Social supervision and criticism work, participation in Party and government building have been focused on, promoting democracy, encouraging people to contribute ideas to draft documents, policies, and supervising law enforcement. The Front's working committees have actively built "Urban Civilization Alleys", with 120 alleys recognized and maintained. People's foreign affairs activities and work with overseas Vietnamese have also been effectively enhanced.

Entering the new term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho Ward aims to continue promoting the role and functions of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations. The specific goal is to direct all activities to the grassroots, promote patriotic emulation movements, care for the material and spiritual lives of the people, and improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism. The Fatherland Front of the Ward also aims to contribute to building a clean, strong Party organization and political system, closely connected with the people.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho Ward has proposed three breakthroughs. First is to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of benefiting the country and people, being flexible, effective, and adapting to the new situation. Second is to improve the quality of cadres, build a proactive, courageous, knowledgeable, creative, and professional team. Third is to improve the quality of supervision and social criticism, protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, practice democracy, and strengthen social consensus.

At the same time, the Congress identified six key action programs. These programs include promoting propaganda, mobilizing, and gathering people; representing and protecting the people's legitimate and legal rights and interests; encouraging people to compete, work creatively, and develop the socio-economy ; building self-governing, united, prosperous, and happy residential areas; improving the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs and work with overseas Vietnamese; continuing to innovate the organizational apparatus and improving the capacity of the Front's staff at all levels.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City - praised the results achieved by the ward Fatherland Front. At the same time, Ms. Kim Dung also requested the ward Fatherland Front to continue to promote its core role in building the great national unity bloc, strengthen supervision and social criticism, focus on major and sensitive issues such as urban planning, land management, environmental sanitation, construction order, promptly reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people.

Agreeing with the above comments, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khuyen - Party Secretary, Chairman of Tay Ho Ward People's Council, highly appreciated the innovations in the content and methods of operation of the ward's Fatherland Front. Mr. Khuyen suggested that the Fatherland Front continue to promote its central role in the great solidarity bloc, accompanying the Party Committee and the government in all political tasks, especially the goal of caring for and protecting the practical, legitimate and legal interests of the people.

The Congress elected 55 members of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee. At the first meeting, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho Ward, Term I, elected the Standing Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairmen; in which, comrade Pham The Vinh is Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho Ward.
