It is known that over the past 2 years, the Cooperative has cooperated with Minh Phu Certified Shrimp Social Company Limited to implement the ASC certified shrimp model with 103 participating households, an area of ​​220 hectares. Of which, 40 Cooperative members participated with an area of ​​103 hectares. Farmers were supported by the company with techniques and seeds, thereby significantly increasing efficiency.

Mr. Vo Van Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative, said that many households harvested 100 million VND/ha/crop. During the implementation process, in addition to the standards in aquaculture, people also did a good job of protecting the environment, ensuring light, green, clean and beautiful. However, the difficulties in production of the members of the Cooperative as well as in the area are polluted water sources (there are times when there is a lack of water for production), quality management of seed, and low prices of raw shrimp.

According to Mr. Pham Van Dien, Chairman of Tri Phai Commune People's Committee, the biggest difficulty is the quality of seeds. The commune has cooperated with many seed suppliers but the quality has not been guaranteed. In addition, there is a difficulty related to product output, although Minh Phu has supported the people with 1 million VND/ha. The people really want to have a company capable of closely linking from input to product output.

After the inspection, the delegation worked with the People's Committee of Thoi Binh commune and district.

At the end of the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su directed that communes and cooperatives should set goals based on plans. The vital factor is to organize "collective buying and collective selling" and this is also the core factor in mobilizing people to participate in cooperatives. In addition, commune and district leaders must calculate and select determined, knowledgeable and dynamic people to support cooperatives. To develop services in cooperatives, it is necessary to mobilize professional and experienced people to become members to specialize in providing services. The Commune People's Committee needs to use and maximize the professional force, promote the role of the Commune Standing Committee, as well as the front and mass organizations. The District People's Committee reviews the progress of implementing production plans for goods and controls the plans of the communes. Pay special attention during the transition period so that there is no gap.

Mr. Pham Van Dien, Chairman of Tri Phai Commune People's Committee, said that the biggest difficulty is quality breeding stock.

This afternoon, the working delegation continued to inspect the production and work situation in U Minh district. According to the schedule, from May 26-30, 2025, the delegation is expected to conduct inspections in all districts and cities in the province. Accordingly, focusing on inspecting the progress of implementing Plan No. 114/KH-UBND dated April 21, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on developing breakthrough production in the shrimp industry in Ca Mau province; Plan No. 99/KH-UBND dated April 14, 2025 on implementing the Project on developing collective economy in Ca Mau province in 2025; Plan on developing rice production in Ca Mau province in 2025; Plan on developing the crab industry in Ca Mau province.

Mr. Vo Van Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quyet Tien Cooperative, said that currently many households in the cooperative are harvesting 100 million VND/ha/crop.

In addition to checking the content according to the plans of the Provincial People's Committee, the delegation also surveyed and learned about the actual production situation, removed difficulties and obstacles in implementing the tasks and solutions for collective economic development and production development that have been proposed.
