Prolonged heavy rain has caused flooding on many roads in Vinh Hai commune.

On the morning of December 10th, due to heavy rain, many roads in Vinh Hai commune were deeply flooded, making travel difficult for residents. Some sections of Route 702 experienced landslides, posing a potential traffic safety hazard. The heavy rain also caused significant damage to crops, especially grapes, onions, and garlic, belonging to local residents.

The People's Committee of Vinh Hai commune has implemented emergency response plans, mobilizing local forces to assist residents in protecting their property, and inspecting areas at risk of landslides to issue warnings and set up checkpoints. The commune's police force, in coordination with the Vinh Hy Tourism Group, used boats to safely transport students home from school in areas cut off by floodwaters. Simultaneously, authorities organized the clearing of the bridge in Thai An village to ensure water flow and reduce localized flooding.
