Ms. Vu Thanh Quyen, an accountant at a leather shoe export company in Hanoi , said that the salary for accounting professionals ranges from 5 to 20 million VND per month. However, this is just a basic figure; the actual salary can vary depending on work experience and foreign language skills.

“For example, if a new graduate does not have much experience, the salary will be low. It may also depend on the size and nature of the job or the company you work for. If you have foreign language skills, you will apply to a foreign company and the salary and bonus will be higher than in a Vietnamese company,” said Ms. Quyen.

According to Ms. Quyen, the salary of a new Accounting graduate and the salary of a permanent employee with many years of experience are also different. Specifically, if you have 1-2 years of experience, the salary will be from 10-15 million VND/month. In addition, for those with more than 3 years of experience, the company can offer a salary of 15-25 million VND/month.
