Bellingham fires a cannon into Barcelona's net, setting a series of "huge" milestones

In the El Clasico match in round 11 of La Liga, Jude Bellingham shone brightly when he contributed a double to help Real Madrid come back to win 2-1 against Barcelona. This result helped Los Blancos reclaim the top spot in La Liga from Girona with 28 points.

The English star was once again on everyone 's lips. Few expected Bellingham to settle in so quickly. He scored on his Real Madrid debut, scored on his Champions League debut and scored in his first Clasico.

According to Opta, Bellingham became the first Real Madrid player to score at least two goals in the first Clasico of the 21st century. Not only that, with his superb goal against Barcelona, the English midfielder became the fifth Real Madrid player to score from outside the box at Barcelona's Camp Nou since the 2003/04 season. The last player to do so was Gareth Bale in 2018.

Up to this point, Bellingham has scored 10 goals in La Liga after only 10 matches. This is an achievement that the legendary Zidane could not achieve. In his career, Zizou has never reached the 10-goal mark in a season.

Bellingham even had a better start at Real Madrid than C. Ronaldo. In his first season at Bernabeu, CR7 only scored 7 goals in the first 10 matches in La Liga, 3 goals less than Bellingham. The English star only needed 24 shots to score 10 goals. Meanwhile, C. Ronaldo shot 60 times and only celebrated 7 goals.

Witnessing Bellingham's excellence, Vinicius Jr exclaimed: "He has incredible talent. Bellingham always knows how to make a difference, just like C. Ronaldo before."

Luka Modric praised his junior: "Bellingham is a guy with extraordinary talent. I didn't think he would score so many goals. Congratulations to Bellingham. Hope he gets better."

Meanwhile, coach Ancelotti proudly shared: "I guess Bellingham can easily reach 20-25 goals this season. However, I don't think he is a goalscorer or a striker. Bellingham is in very impressive form but I hope other players score.

Bellingham played like a veteran. He always showed great attitude. His equaliser changed the game. After that goal, Real Madrid had new energy and Barcelona started to look weaker. Before Bellingham scored, Barca were playing very well."

As for Bellingham, the player was extremely proud: "A comeback win. I love it. Wins like that are very difficult but very exciting. We gave our all, did not give up. I am very happy."
