Leaders of communes, wards and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City discuss tourism connectivity

(Dan Tri) - Promoting and developing unique tourism products in 168 wards and communes in a digital, green and sustainable direction aims to contribute to realizing the goal of making Ho Chi Minh City a leading destination in Asia.

On December 6, leaders of 168 wards, communes, and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City attended a meeting at the REX Hotel to discuss with Saigontourist Group about the direction of connecting and developing tourism with the community.

The event was attended by representatives of the City Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, leaders of departments, branches, localities, central and Ho Chi Minh City press agencies, and member companies of the Saigontourist Group system.

The event is expected to strengthen the connection and cooperation between businesses - government - local communities in developing tourism in a sustainable, green and creative direction. This is a cooperation model to ensure harmonious development between economic benefits, environmental conservation and social welfare.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said that during 50 years of formation and development, Saigontourist Group has affirmed its brand position not only domestically but also in the international market.

The leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee hope that each locality, media agencies and Saigontourist Group will continue to promote and develop typical tourism products in 168 wards and communes in a digital, green and sustainable direction.
