Towards the Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2027, Southern Phu Quoc Island is entering the most important construction phase since becoming a special economic zone. A series of infrastructure projects are being implemented simultaneously.

Phu Quoc International Airport has been upgraded to ICAO's 4E standard, capable of receiving wide-body aircraft with 120 aircraft parking positions, and a capacity of up to 20 million passengers/year (Photo: Sun Group ).

The airport is equipped with the most modern technology and is operated by Changi Airport Group. The passenger terminal and VVIP terminal meet high standards, applying the TAM operating system, biometrics, automatic baggage handling... for a seamless and fast journey - a strategic step to welcome strong integration in the future (Photo: Sun Group).

DT.975 route, 19.26km long, 62m wide with at least 6 lanes, with an additional 15m reserved for trains - the backbone traffic axis connecting the airport to the convention center (Photo: Sun Group).

The urban metro line (section 1) is 18km long, including 6 stations (1 underground station), transporting more than 4,500 people/hour, helping to shorten travel time between "event - tourism - commercial coordinates" to a few minutes (Photo: Sun Group).

The Exhibition Center and Multi-purpose Performance Hall complex is designed according to the Eastern philosophy of balance "Round Heaven - Square Earth", symbolizing the harmony between tradition and modernity (Photo: Sun Group).

The biggest highlight at the convention center is the 11,050m2, column-free ballroom with a span of 81m, which will become the largest ballroom in the world, surpassing Caesars Forum in Las Vegas (Photo: Sun Group).

The Dinner Show space has a capacity of 2,000 seats, where guests can enjoy cuisine and performances imbued with the culture of the Pearl Island. Sun Group is joining hands with Cirque du Soleil to build a unique show as soon as it comes into operation (Photo: Sun Group).

The multi-purpose performance hall is covered with a Dragon scale shell, supported by 50 pillars symbolizing the 50 children following their father to the sea, evoking the legend of “The Dragon and the Fairy’s Descendants”. In addition to serving APEC, the project will be a “global cultural rendezvous”, a place to hold international film and art festivals and programs to promote Vietnam to the world (Photo: Sun Group).
