Hanoi male student had his high school diploma revoked for cheating in the 2025 exam

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training canceled the exam results and revoked the graduation certificate of a male high school student in Dan Phuong, after security agencies determined that the candidate used a phone to cheat.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued a decision to cancel exam results, revoke and cancel the high school graduation certificate of one candidate, following the announcement of the Investigation Security Agency, Hanoi City Police.

This decision was issued to NVK (born in 2007), a former student of Dan Phuong High School, exam date June 26, 2025. This male student was awarded a high school diploma by the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training with the number: T04742981; certificate registration number: B25/023/013327, date of issue September 23, 2025.

The reason for the revocation and cancellation of the high school diploma is clearly stated: Candidate NVK used a phone in the exam room, cheated in the exam; violated point b, clause 4, Article 21 of the Exam Regulations and point a, clause 1, Article 25 of the Regulations on the management of diplomas and certificates according to the announcement in Official Dispatch No. 6891 of the Investigation Security Agency, Hanoi City Police.

According to the decision of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, within 30 days from the date of receiving the decision, NVK candidates must return their high school diplomas to the department. Dan Phuong High School is responsible for notifying NVK candidates of this decision and adjusting the information in the archives of the high school graduation exam on June 26, 2025 at the school.

The Examination Management and Education Quality Assessment Department of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training is responsible for canceling the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, revoking and canceling the 2025 graduation certificates of NVK candidates; adjusting the information in the original records kept at the department about the high school graduation exam for the term of June 26, 2025 and reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training according to regulations.
