Hung Nguyen has been crowned Mr. Tourism World 2025.

From the very first day of the competition, Hung Nguyen was the most talked-about contestant. Many fan pages posted his images and videos with positive and encouraging comments.

"I am proud and happy because I never thought I would receive so much attention. The journey of Mr. Vietnam has only just begun, and I aim to have more meaningful projects during my term," he told VietNamNet .

Besides congratulations, some opinions suggest that Hung Nguyen, as the contestant representing the host country, should receive preferential treatment.

The male pageant winner asserted that he received no favoritism from the organizers. Like all contestants, he went through the preliminary rounds and challenges with a packed schedule.

In addition, he was responsible for translation, stage support, and connecting contestants with the organizers. The constant traveling and speaking left him hoarse and exhausted before the final.

Mr. Tourism World 2025 is the first beauty pageant Hung Nguyen has participated in. Due to the tight schedule, he did not receive the same formal training as previous representatives.

He said that all his performances in the competition stemmed from instinct, so they weren't as perfect as he had hoped.

"I read every comment and felt I had grown more mature. Whether the feedback was good or bad, I reflected on it and looked back at myself. I am grateful for your continued support and companionship," he expressed.

Hung Nguyen, whose full name is Nguyen Huu Hung, was born in 1998 in Hai Duong province. He is 1.88m tall and weighs 75kg. He is currently a model and a dance instructor.

He once won second prize in a dance competition and performed at major events such as music festivals, concerts, and countdown events. He has also collaborated with divas My Linh, Hong Nhung, Tung Duong, Son Tung M-TP, Noo Phuoc Thinh, and rappers Double2T, BigDaddy, etc.

Passionate about dance since high school, Hung Nguyen officially pursued art when he entered university. Starting his career on his own in the city, he struggled to make ends meet, learning from colleagues and senior artists.

Hung Nguyen has gone through many hardships, at times feeling hopeless, but he is grateful for those difficulties because they gave him the experience and motivation to rise to where he is today.

Born into a farming family, he understood the hardships his parents faced working multiple jobs to provide their children with a proper education.

His father worked as a farmer, raising pigs and chickens, brewing rượu (rice wine), and doing extra work as an electrician in the commune. His mother had worked abroad as a migrant worker, then returned to her hometown to sell groceries and work as a cleaner at a high school.

"I've never been shy about talking about my family background because it helps me become more independent and self-reliant in life," he shared.
