"Helping you go to school" helps 87 disadvantaged students

On September 5, at Binh Thanh Secondary School, Dinh Van Lam Ha Commune (Lam Dong Province), Lam Dong Red Cross Association in coordination with sponsors organized the program "Helping children go to school".

Donating bicycles to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The program provided support to 87 disadvantaged students from the following schools: Binh Thanh Secondary School, Binh Thanh Primary School, Hoang Hoa Tham High School, and N'Thol Ha Secondary School, with a total value of 120 million VND.

Donating health insurance cards to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This includes: 60 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND; 15 bicycles, each worth 1.6 million VND; 11 health insurance cards, each worth 650,000 VND; and sponsoring one student with 7 million VND in assistance.

Philanthropists have sponsored a student from a disadvantaged background.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society, said: "This is the second 'Helping Children Go to School' scholarship program with a total value of 120 million VND. The program has profound humanitarian significance and has been actively supported by all Red Cross officials, members, and sponsors, aiming to share with disadvantaged students in the area, helping them continue their education, strive for high academic achievements, become good children and excellent students, and fulfill their ambitions and dreams."

Representatives from Vietbank Lam Dong Branch presented school supplies to the schools.
