NASA, SpaceX plan new mission to take astronauts to ISS

NASA and SpaceX are planning a new mission to carry astronauts to the International Space Station on July 31, the 11th crew rotation mission under NASA's Commercial Crew Program.

On July 24, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that NASA and SpaceX are planning to carry out a new mission to bring astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) on July 31.

The flight is scheduled to depart at 12:09 p.m. Eastern Time (11:09 p.m. Vietnam Time) on July 31 from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The spacecraft carrying the astronauts will dock with the ISS at around 3 a.m. on August 2.

The new mission will carry NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Kimiya Yui and Russian Federal Space Agency Roscosmos astronaut Oleg Platonov to the ISS.

This will be the 11th crewed rotation mission conducted in partnership with SpaceX under NASA's Commercial Crew Program. This initiative aims to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation to and from the ISS using commercial spacecraft./.
