At the invitation of President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong led a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to attend the 32nd Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit Week and hold bilateral meetings in the Republic of Korea from October 29 to November 1, 2025.
Vietnam-Korea relations are developing strongly, substantially and comprehensively in many fields, especially after the two countries officially upgraded their relationship to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (December 2022). High-level contacts take place regularly, strongly consolidating political trust between the two countries.
South Korea continues to be one of Vietnam's leading economic partners, especially in the fields of trade, investment and development cooperation./.
