In this exhibition, in addition to works about people and life in today's society to spread positive thoughts and artistic values, the authors also voluntarily created portraits to honor individual painters and sculptors who have contributed to the fine arts career before and after 1975.

There are also portraits of people who have been awarded State prizes in professional activities and artists who have achieved high titles ineducation and creative work.

Some of the typical painters and sculptors whose portraits appeared in the exhibition include: painters Huynh Phuong Dong, Nguyen Gia Tri, Truong Han Minh, Nguyen Hoang, Le Thi Kim Bach; sculptors Diep Minh Chau, Nguyen Hai, Dinh Ru...

According to Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association Nguyen Xuan Tien, the exhibition contributes to the cultural and artistic space at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum by preserving images of typical fine artists through works of art, so that future generations can know about the predecessors of the city's fine arts.

"The works are made of diverse materials: bronze, cast iron, metal... The themes and forms of sculpture are richly expressed in the individual style of each author" - Mr. Tien commented.
