On the afternoon of July 3, the Admissions Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the conditional admission scores for early admission methods.

Specific early admission methods include:

Method 1.2: Priority is given to direct admission of the best candidates from high schools in 2024 according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University;

Method 2: Priority admission according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University;

Method 4: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024;

Method 5.1: Priority is given to students who are members of provincial/municipal teams participating in national excellent student competitions or who won first, second, or third prizes in provincial/municipal excellent student competitions;

Method 5.3: Admission based on high school academic results for candidates with excellent achievements, especially outstanding in social, cultural and sports activities.

Accordingly, leading in terms of benchmark scores for all early admission methods is the multimedia communications industry.

In particular, the method of considering the scores of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024, the benchmark scores for majors range from 635 to 963 points and there are 12 majors with over 800 points. The highest is multimedia communications with 963 points. 11 majors with benchmark scores of 800 points or more include: English (882 points), international standard English (850 points); Chinese (843 points), international standard Chinese (805 points), international relations (878 points), international standard international relations (855 points), psychology (887 points), educational psychology (825 points), journalism (875 points), international standard journalism (855 points), tourism and travel services management (835 points).

3 new majors opening for training in 2024 have an admission score of over 700 points, specifically: art 765 points, Korean business 785 points, international studies 745 points.

Priority admission scores according to regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University range from 24 to 28.85 points.

This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City, enrolls 3,799 students for 37 training majors in two regular programs: standard program and international standard program. Master Nguyen Thao Chi, Head of the Department of Communications and Business Relations, commented: "In general, compared to 2023, the admission benchmark by early admission methods in 2024 has not changed much, the capacity assessment score of Ho Chi Minh City National University has increased slightly."
