Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities has appointed two vice rectors at the same time. Associate Professor Luu Van Quyet was newly appointed and Dr. Le Hoang Dung was reappointed.

Associate Professor Luu Van Quyet, born in 1980, from Nam Dinh (old) has been associated with this school for 20 years. He was a former student when he graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in Vietnamese History, then received a doctorate in History from Beijing Normal University - China.

Mr. Luu Van Quyet was recognized as associate professor in 2022. At the school, Mr. Quyet held positions such as lecturer, deputy head of department, head of history department; Deputy director of the center for national strategy and policy research.

Dr. Le Hoang Dung, born in 1977, from Long An (old), graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Language from Ho Chi Minh City University of Science, and a doctorate in Education from De La Salle University - Philippines. Mr. Dung has held positions such as lecturer, deputy head of department, head of English Literature Department; Deputy Director of the University Administration Institute, Deputy Director of the Foreign Language Center. Since 2020, Mr. Dung has held the position of Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Ho Chi Minh City National University also awarded a commemorative medal to Dr. Pham Tan Ha, recognizing his contributions to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Mr. Ha will no longer hold the position of Vice President from April 2025 due to reaching the age of retirement according to regulations.
