This is to offer incense and flowers in gratitude to the generations of leaders and officials of the banking sector who have made significant contributions to the establishment and development of the sector and the country; to offer incense and flowers at Thong Thien Tower to pray for blessings from heaven and earth for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, and for the banking sector to overcome all difficulties and challenges and excellently fulfill all tasks entrusted by the Party, the State, and the people. At the same time, the "Planting Trees in Remembrance of Uncle Ho" program was organized to encourage officials, union members, and employees of the banking sector to uphold the fine tradition of Tet (Lunar New Year) and Spring, following the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh . This year, the leadership of the State Bank of Vietnam and the Vietnam Banking Union also launched another extremely practical and meaningful activity: a program encouraging officials, union members, and employees of the banking sector to contribute one day's salary to support the "Joining Hands to Eliminate 1,000 Temporary and Dilapidated Houses" program nationwide, in response to the Prime Minister's call.

Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu, on behalf of the State Bank of Vietnam's leadership and the Vietnam Banking Union, called on all officials, union members, and employees throughout the banking system to actively participate in the "Planting Trees in Remembrance of Uncle Ho" program and the "Planting 1 Million Green Trees" program launched by the Prime Minister with the highest sense of responsibility to contribute to greening the earth, preventing natural disasters, saline intrusion, and responding to climate change. At the same time, he urged them to actively donate at least one day's salary to join the banking sector in "Eliminating 1,000 temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide, in response to the 350-day campaign to successfully implement the "Nationwide Campaign to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses" in 2025 as directed by the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the ceremony, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Nguyen Thi Hong, emphasized: These two programs are very significant for the banking sector and the country. They are practical activities that encourage union members and employees in the banking sector to continue to uphold their shared responsibility to the community and society, accompanying the Government in implementing national target programs and striving to achieve the goal of essentially eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025. To ensure the program's effectiveness, she requested that heads and union chairpersons of all units in the banking sector highly demonstrate exemplary responsibility and pioneering spirit in organizing and implementing the programs within their respective units, and to thoroughly understand, motivate, encourage, and promote the active participation of cadres, union members, and employees in their units in the two programs. Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong emphasized: 2025 is of special importance, a year of acceleration and breakthrough to achieve the goals of the 2021-2025 five-year socio-economic development plan.
