Specifically, in the North, the price of live pigs today fluctuates at 52,000-54,000 VND/kg. In particular, in Hung Yen, Hanoi , Bac Ninh, the price of pigs all decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 54,000 VND/kg.
With the same decrease, the purchase price of live pigs in Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho fell to 53,000 VND/kg, while the price of pigs in Son La fell to the lowest level in the region at 52,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, in the provinces of Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai and Dien Bien, pork prices are stable, currently around 53,000 VND/kg. The highest is in Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong and Ninh Binh at 54,000 VND/kg.
Live pigs in the Central Highlands are currently being purchased by traders at around VND50,000-53,000/kg. In particular, the price of pigs decreased by VND1,000/kg in Hue, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak and Lam Dong; recorded at VND51,000/kg in Hue and Lam Dong, VND50,000/kg in Quang Ngai and Dak Lak.
In Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, live pigs still maintain the highest price in the region at 53,000 VND/kg; Ha Tinh maintains the price at 52,000 VND/kg; in Quang Tri, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa, the price is 51,000 VND/kg; while Gia Lai continues to have the lowest price at 50,000 VND/kg.
Similarly, the price of live pigs today also decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in some localities in the Southern region such as: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, Vinh Long and Can Tho.
Currently, live pigs are trading at 51,000 VND/kg for Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho; and Vinh Long is down to 50,000 VND/kg.
Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and An Giang provinces still maintain the price at 52,000 VND/kg; while Ca Mau continues to maintain the highest regional price at 53,000 VND/kg.
