On October 3rd, the 8th Conference of the Central Committee of the 13th Party Congress entered its second day of work.

In the morning, the Central Committee of the Party met in the meeting hall to discuss the socio- economic situation, the state budget for 2023, the plan for 2024, the three-year state financial and budget plan for 2024-2026, and the roadmap for implementing the new salary system.
Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister, chaired the discussion on behalf of the Political Bureau.
In the afternoon, the Central Committee of the Party worked in discussion groups on the draft report summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 8 of the 11th Central Committee on the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation.
