Upholding the nation's tradition of solidarity, compassion, love, sharing, and mutual support, in recent times, agencies, organizations, individuals, businesses, armed forces, and people inside and outside the province have actively responded to and supported the poor through the emulation movement "For the Poor - Leaving No One Behind". From the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels, support has helped thousands of poor households rise out of poverty and stabilize their lives.
However, the poverty and near-poverty rate in Ninh Thuan province remains quite high compared to the national average; among them, more than 1,600 households are facing housing difficulties, living in dilapidated, substandard, and damaged temporary houses, and are experiencing many hardships in life. They desperately need the compassion, sharing, and noble gestures of the community to help them alleviate their difficulties and rise out of poverty sustainably.
During the peak month of the "For the Poor" campaign from October 17th, 2024 to November 18th, 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee, calls upon organizations, individuals, businesses, armed forces, and the people to continue supporting the "For the Poor" Fund in 2024 to have more resources to care for the poor in the province. The goal is to build 500 houses for poor and near-poor households by the end of 2024 (according to Project 384) and to basically eliminate temporary, damaged, and dilapidated houses for the poor and near-poor in Ninh Thuan province by 2025.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province sincerely acknowledges the compassionate hearts and noble deeds of the people, officials, soldiers, organizations, agencies, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province who have supported the "For the Poor" Fund in 2024.
