The founder of the Nuoi Em project said that on Monday (December 8), he will work with Vietcombank to freeze account 0491001764766. The expected freezing time is 15 days.
The freezing of the account coincides with the suspension of food payments to the project's students.
Hoang Hoa Trung said he had received many questions from the community regarding the transparency of the project's revenue and expenditure, leading to "myself doubting whether I could guarantee to do it 100% correctly or not."
He wishes to work with an independent auditor to objectively examine the revenue and expenditure transactions of the Nuoi Em project.
Previously, since the night of December 6, many accounts posted on the social network Threads accusing the Nuoi Em project of lacking financial transparency.
A post from account alexaphan1204 said that in August 2022, this person texted Hoang Hoa Trung to register to "raise a child" (each individual will contribute a certain amount of money to raise a student to go to school).

After that, this person was given a foster care code NE03905. The one-time foster care fee is 1,450,000 VND.
In early January 2023, this person tried to look up but the adoption code showed another person's name.
From then on, this person suspected that there were 2 people raising the same student.
A list of dozens of duplicate Nuoi Em codes was also posted online at around 8pm tonight, making netizens even more suspicious that there are cases where students are raised by 2-3 different donors. Meanwhile, in principle, 1 student only has 1 person contributing money to raise them.
The Feed the Children project was initiated in 2014 with the aim of providing better quality meals to ethnic minority children and students. Each donor can “adopt” a child through a small daily donation, helping schools maintain their kitchens and significantly reduce the rate of student dropouts.
A few hours ago, rapper Den Vau spoke up, clarifying the relationship between him and the Nuoi Em project.
The male rapper affirmed that he and his team participated in Nuoi Em as supporters, like other benefactors. He is not the founder, does not participate in the management, operation or decide on the use of the Nuoi Em project's budget.
Every year, Den Vau and his team still send money to take care of meals for the children in the highlands under the project. This is a personal expense, outside of the revenue from the song Cooking for Children.
Den Vau also explained that all revenue from the above song is for charity, but not just the Nuoi Em project but also for other programs.
The male singer hopes that the online community will not rush to conclusions, but should calm down and wait for a clear and transparent answer from the Nuoi Em team.
"If any violations are concluded by the authorities, Den will support handling them to the end to protect the interests of the benefactors and most importantly, the interests of the children," the male rapper wrote.
Responding to Dan Tri reporter, Hoang Hoa Trung said that the project is raising about 50,000-60,000 ethnic minority students nationwide. These difficult students are listed by the school and local authorities.
Previously, Nuoi Em sent money to support students through the local education and training department. Since the district level was abolished, Nuoi Em transfers money directly to the school.
