According to Decision No. 698/QD-LDLD of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Unions, announced at the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Unions decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Hanoi Labor Newspaper - to the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Hanoi Labor Newspaper under the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Unions, effective from August 21, 2024, with a term of appointment of 5 years.

Mr. Nguyen Van Binh was born in 1975 in Hanoi. He holds a college degree in Prosecution, a Bachelor's degree in Law , a Master's degree in Political Science, and a Senior Certificate in Political Theory. He has also received training and professional development in various other fields such as journalism, advanced knowledge of state management of journalism, and the senior specialist rank.
Throughout his career, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh has continuously strived to improve himself in terms of ideology, political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, and professional skills, and has matured through various positions: From an official in the Procuracy, Mr. Binh rose to become Deputy Head of the Legal Education and Dissemination Department of the Hanoi Department of Justice and spent eight years as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Law and Society Newspaper before joining the Hanoi Labor Newspaper.
On behalf of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Unions leadership, Chairman Pham Quang Thanh presented the Decision, offered flowers, and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Van Binh on assuming his new responsibilities.
According to the Chairman of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor, Pham Quang Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh has many years of experience and has demonstrated solid skills and expertise in media management. Although his time at the Hanoi Labor Newspaper has not been long, Mr. Binh has made important contributions to the newspaper's development.

Recognizing that the Hanoi Labor Newspaper, like many other media outlets, is facing numerous difficulties and challenges, particularly in media planning and fierce information competition, the Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Union, Pham Quang Thanh, expressed his confidence and hope that Mr. Nguyen Van Binh will continue to effectively utilize his leadership abilities, working with the editorial board of the Hanoi Labor Newspaper to constantly innovate the content, format, and reach of the newspaper, thereby further enhancing the role, position, and brand of the Hanoi Labor Newspaper.
In his acceptance speech, the new Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Labor Newspaper, Nguyen Van Binh, respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor for entrusting him with this honorable yet important responsibility. He also expressed gratitude for the trust and support of the editorial board, staff, reporters, and employees of Hanoi Labor Newspaper, especially his predecessor, Le Thi Bich Ngoc, who spent 10 years building and elevating the newspaper to a new level.
New Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Binh affirmed that he will continue to uphold political integrity, cultivate moral character and personal capabilities, and, together with the editorial board, reporters, and staff of the Hanoi Labor Newspaper, will unite and strive to make the Hanoi Labor Newspaper increasingly better at providing information, in accordance with the directives of the Central Government, Hanoi City, and the Hanoi City Federation of Labor, especially in fulfilling the principles and objectives of the newspaper of the trade union organization, and as a forum for workers, civil servants, and laborers in the capital city.
