Information from the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Ha Nam province on June 23 said that Korean enterprises are the largest investors in terms of the number of projects in Ha Nam with 128 projects (accounting for more than 1/3 of FDI projects) and the second largest in terms of total investment capital with 1.664 billion USD (equivalent to nearly 30% of total FDI investment capital in Ha Nam).
Accordingly, FDI projects of Korean enterprises in Ha Nam have been implemented, ensuring progress, complying with legal regulations and environmental protection, contributing to creating jobs for local workers and increasing Ha Nam province's budget revenue.
In order to increase the attraction of FDI capital, in recent times, the People's Committee of Ha Nam province has been focusing on developing transport infrastructure, building industrial parks with synchronous infrastructure, creating favorable conditions to attract investors in general and Korean enterprises in particular.
The Management Board of Industrial Parks of Ha Nam province has always performed well the State management of industrial parks in the province, promoted administrative reform, supported enterprises to carry out investment procedures quickly and conveniently, coordinated with investors in industrial park infrastructure business, and improved the quality of public services for enterprises.
Previously, at a working session with the delegation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council (Korea) at the end of 2023, Ms. Le Thi Thuy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ha Nam province - informed that currently, in Ha Nam province, there are 370 FDI projects from 13 countries and territories.
Of which, Korean investors have a total registered investment capital of about 1.7 billion USD. In recent years, Ha Nam province has become one of the leading provinces in the country in attracting investment, especially foreign direct investment (FDI) in industrial parks.
