SEA Games 33 Diary, December 13th: Mong Tuyen wins silver medal in team event.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The women's team, consisting of Le Thi Mong Tuyen, Phi Thanh Thao, and Nguyen Thi Thao, won the silver medal in the women's 10m rifle team event. Mong Tuyen and Thanh Thao advanced to the final to compete for the individual gold medal.

On December 12th, Vietnamese athletes continued their successful performance, winning 10 more gold medals, bringing their total to 24 gold medals after three days of competition.

Today (December 13th), Vietnamese athletes are competing in 30 sports, many of which are finals. Swimming, athletics, martial arts, shooting... continue to be expected "gold mines" for the Vietnamese sports delegation.

Notably, track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh will compete in the first of her three registered events at the SEA Games, the 5000m race. The golden girl of Vietnamese athletics has won 4 gold medals at the 32nd SEA Games and currently has 12 gold medals across all SEA Games. Nguyen Thi Oanh has a great opportunity to surpass the record of Nguyen Thi Huyen (13 gold medals at the SEA Games) and become the "Queen of Athletics" of Vietnamese sports.
