Many unique Ao Dai collections are about to be shown in Hanoi

In response to "Ao Dai Week", the art program "Fragrance and color of Vietnamese Ao Dai" will take place on February 29 at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi . The event will showcase the Ao Dai collection of designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam and more than 50 designers from the North, Central and South regions, representing nearly 10,000 students who graduated from the "Ao Dai Cutting, Sewing and Designing" program.

The collections presented at the show were inspired by the famous heritages and majestic natural landscapes of Vietnam.

The program "Fragrance and color of Vietnamese Ao Dai" will take place on February 29 (Photo: Organizing Committee).

In particular, the program is organized to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024), contributing to affirming the important role and value of Ao Dai in life, culture and society as well as arousing love, pride and responsibility to preserve and promote national cultural heritage.

The event hopes to make Ao Dai a Vietnamese Cultural Heritage and promote the image of Ao Dai, culture, country and Vietnamese people closer to domestic and international friends.

The program "The scent of Vietnamese Ao Dai" is a combination of musical theater, music, and sound, light, and 3D screen technology written and produced by the director team Quang Tu - Bao Ngoc. There are also performances by international Ambassadors' wives such as the US, Armenia, Morocco, Czech Republic, Indonesia...

The program consists of 3 chapters: Chapter 1 - Pride of Vietnamese Ao Dai, Chapter 2 - Soul of Vietnamese Ao Dai, Chapter 3 - Quintessence of Vietnamese Ao Dai.
