Youth Connection Group starts construction of 9 charity houses in 2025

Recently, in Ba Khuy village, Tan Hop commune, the Youth Connection Group handed over a charity house to Mr. Sung A Ao's family after nearly 3 months of construction. The house was supported with 50 million VND from socialized sources. This is the 9th house that the group has started construction on and put into use in 2025.

In addition to building charity houses, the Youth Connection Group is providing monthly sponsorship to 58 families with 119 children in especially difficult circumstances.

Established in 2014, the Youth Connection Group is a gathering place for young people with charitable hearts in Yen Bai (old) and Hanoi, led by Ms. Le Hoang Anh, currently working at the Provincial Employment Service Center; operating with the goal of connecting social resources, sharing from places with conditions to difficult areas, especially prioritizing support for poor children, children without support, children with serious illnesses, at risk of dropping out of school or living in remote areas lacking access to basic services.

Information about cases in need of help, along with local verification, is shared publicly by the group on the fanpage to call for sponsorship. After discussion and agreement, the benefactors will transfer support funds monthly, quarterly or annually depending on the program.

After more than 11 years of operation, the Group has developed a network of collaborators to support the group in localities to directly carry out monthly support and sponsorship activities, affirming the trust of sponsors, thereby attracting resources to support and help the poor and disadvantaged children.

The group also connected to build 151 charity houses worth over 7.5 billion VND; monthly sponsorship for more than 300 children in special circumstances, lonely elderly people, and people with serious illnesses. In addition, the group regularly organizes gift giving programs for ethnic minority and mountainous children; connects to build and repair schools, clean water projects, etc.

In the coming time, the Youth Connection Group will continue to expand its support to communes and wards across Lao Cai province after the merger.
