Speaking at the ceremony, the Ninh Phuoc district leader emphasized: UNESCO's inscription of "Cham pottery art on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding" affirms the high international appreciation for the cultural values of the Cham people. This significantly contributes to introducing the value of Cham traditional pottery to the international community, fostering a fuller understanding of its importance within Vietnam's intangible cultural heritage. The inscription will promote practical and effective solutions to preserve and revitalize the heritage, creating additional resources for the preservation and promotion of Cham pottery heritage, and supporting sustainable economic and cultural development.
